Dan Weiss began playing music in 1996 at the age of 12. Dreaming for years of being a guitar god, he had to settle for trumpet in the school music program. This forced him to begin learning music theory when he might otherwise not have.
More than two decades later, years of performing, recording, songwriting, and stint in music school with a major in jazz guitar, have given him access to a secret or two when it comes to making music. His time in business school has given him insight into the strategies behind branding and marketing.
MFile was created as a way of sharing those secrets about the inner workings of music with those who might also not consider learning about them otherwise.
